Late New Years Eve

The boys are still sick but are slowly improving. We hope this continues and that they are back to normal quickly.
Alexis took another nosedive and is fighting again. She looks gray and pale and lethargic again. They gave her more platelets and blood late tonight. Hopefully this will help give her some energy to fight. She looks like she did a couple of days ago. Its so strange...she seemed to get much better. I know that once a preemie becomes septic that it usually is a long rollercoaster of a journey. I just wasn't prepared for it to happen to one of my babies. I sense the tension among the NICU staff - they are concerned about her. Its so hard to think about anything else. I am so worried. I just have to keep praying.
